Mr Chilli, this is a famous Sichuan hot pot restaurant in the local area. Their bullfrog spicy pot is really amazing. Each one is fresh and fat, and the side dishes are also very delicious.

The food here is very tasty, service here is also very good.The best choice in town.

Hope and Anchor&#39;s chicken wings are only 25p each every Wednesday. We originally only ordered 9, but they were so delicious that we ordered more than 20. It&#39;s a great deal...hahaha

餐厅有很多不错的葡萄酒供客人选择。工作人员提供的服务也是优秀的，他们看起来都是受过专业训练的工作人员。

The restaurant has a lot of good wines for guests to choose from. The service provided by the staff is excellent as well, they all look like professionally trained staff.

Stopped here again as I have enjoyed the last couple of visits, had a pint Saturday evening then returned on Sunday for the all day breakfast. Staff are very helpful and friendly, lovely and clean and despite other reviews I found a mix of people so don&#39;t write this place off as a student venue. Like most town locations you get young people in groups but I was with my own group of 50 somethings and we all enjoyed the craic. Breakfast on Sunday was a great hangover cure, see for yourself, I will be back!

This was an early dinner at the Hope &amp; Anchor which I found through TripAdvisor&#39;s mobile app. It was the closest place to the hotel we were staying at and I wasn&#39;t disappointed. The place itself is modern &amp; bare decor and is quite open, drinks and food selection is good, as was the service. clientele was of a vastly mixed age, and sports was on (quietly) at one end of the bar. I had a New York burger and sweet potato fries which didn&#39;t disappoint. Impressed.
